About Gynecologists
Our gynecologists specialize in women's health. They evaluate the health of the reproductive system but also can evaluate and treat disorders of the bladder and rectum. Gynecologists serve women during all stages of life. Our gynecologists work out three offices-2 in Suffolk and one in Smithfield, VA. Our gynecologists are located so as to be convenient to Suffolk, Smithfield, Portsmouth, and Chesapeake.

It is our gynecologists' responsibility to help diagnose and treat the many health issues and diseases involving the reproductive system. The gynecologist may treat with medication or surgery, if indicated, after explaining the results of tests and options for treatment. Our gynecologists are trained in minimally invasive hysterectomy.

Our gynecologists also offer preventive care. An exam to assess reproductive and breast health to catch  diseases or illnesses in early stages is performed. Gynecologists at Genis Women's Care also address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your obstetric or gynecologic history.

Our obstetrician/gynecologists provide care and support all throughout pregnancy. Our gynecologists recommend preconceptual counseling to discover any potential areas of concern, especially if you have other health problems, or are older than age 34. Genis Women's Care obstetrician/gynecologists will monitor the health of the mother and child with regularly scheduled appointments. Besides addressing any problems, the gynecologist provides regular support and important information for the expectant patient. A 3D/4D ultrasound is routine.
